There are two Class III hitches available for the 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. The Draw-Tite Class III 2-Inch Hitch, part # 75579, and the Curt Class III 2-Inch Hitch, part # 13364.
Both of the hitches use a square tube design and will install in the same location on the vehicle. So they will all look the same on the rear of your Grand Caravan.
The difference between the Curt hitch, # 13364, and the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75579, is the mounting bracket on the passenger side. The Curt... view full answer...
The Air Lift Helper Rear Coil Springs # AL60814 is the better choice for reducing the strain on your 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan's suspension while maintaining a slightly smoother ride for your passengers when you're not towing. I typically recommend the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TDVRRT for trucks that tow/carry heavy loads on a regular basis.
An even better option would be a weight distribution system which is chosen based on your total tongue weight which includes the loaded... view full answer...
The differences between the Hidden Hitch Class III Hitch, # 87719, and the Curt Class III Hitch, # 13389, are very minimal.
The Draw-Tite Hitch, # 75305, is going to sit approximately 11-3/4 inches from the top of the receiver to the ground.
The Curt Hitch, # 13389, is going to sit approximately 12-1/4 inches from the top of the receiver to the ground. The benefit to this hitch is that it installs in about half of the time as the other.
If you are in need of a 4 bike rack, I recommend... view full answer...
You are correct that the 24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs # 63153 will have less play because it doesn't have that pivot. You can even add an anti-rattle hitch lock like # 63232 to further eliminate movement.
The folding feature of the 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs # e98874 is really nice for storage and clearance when not in use. The pivot will allow some play but not as much as you may imagine. You can tighten the bolt to help... view full answer...

The difference between the Dexter Trailer Idler Axle part # 20545I-EZ-60-10 and part # 20545I-EZ-60-15 is that the former is compatible with wheels from 8"-12" and the latter is compatible with wheels from 13"-15". The surface area on the hub is larger on the latter option which is why it is compatible with larger wheels but aside from this they are the exact same. view full answer...
The connectors and converter box are both different when comparing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118534 to the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118482. If the connectors were the only difference then I would say it would be okay to just remove these and then splice the wires into the taillight circuits but since the converter box is different as well it would be best to just obtain the new harness (part #... view full answer...
Basically a lot depends on what you will be using the hitch for. If it is just for accessories such as a bike rack or cargo carrier than for the most part you will be fine with a Class II trailer hitch. If you will be towing then I would go with the stouter Class III hitch.
There are several differences between a Class II and Class III trailer hitch. The biggest differences are the size of the receiver opening and the capacities. A Class II trailer hitch will have a 1-1/4 inch receiver... view full answer...
The difference between Bargman Clearance Side Marker Light part # 30-17-814 and part # 34-17-808 is that # 34-17-808 includes a foam rubber gasket to seal to the trailer.
I have linked to a video review of part # 34-17-808 for you to check out. view full answer...
The difference between manual and assisted chains is in how they are tensioned.
The method of assisted adjustment may vary from snow chain to snow chain, but the reason for these types of chains is the same. Built-in devices - whether cams or integrated pulls - make fitting and securing your tire chains quick and simple. They will not automatically tighten and align like self-tensioning chains, but they are much faster and easier to install than manually adjusted models.

Both the Curt # 13389 and the Draw-Tite # 75305 are confirmed fits for your 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan with Stow-N-Go seating and both share the same tongue weight (TW) and gross trailer weight (GTW) ratings of 350-lbs and 3500-lbs. If used with a weight distribution system both hitches' capacities increase to 400-lbs TW and 4000-lbs GTW.
The installation difficulty ratings for these two hitches differ really only because those ratings are determined by each manufacturer and there is some... view full answer...
